What's your source? I'm not hearing a lack of edge with my Akurate, balanced in. I listen mostly to acoustic music (symphony, jazz) and maybe those don't have the type of edge EDM etc have.

I'm an outlier myself, as I'm not a fan of Unison. I use the Holo Red and the resulting sound is quite excellent.

This is the second time I've heard this and I have Gen5 on my A1. I wonder if I should even bother with Unison. What didnt you like?

Lead time is around a couple of months right now. I placed my order 3 weeks ago and hoping to get my MJ3 at the end of April.

To add to the conversation about the bulging old blue 47microfarad capacitors in the first run.

I just got my MJ3 (First run, ordered morning of release date) back from repair of the funky gain switch, upon looking at it, I have one 10u black cap and one 47u blue cap. I'm not sure if they switched it out as well while it was there, but there's no mention of any work besides the gain switch on the repair invoice/sheet. Strange, but glad to see I now have the same cap layout as the second run it seems, besides the color of the 47 cap.
