thanks for your details reply. just some clarifications:
in 2) you mention "connect your M1s to iPhone/iPad/MacBook etc" - do you mean connect by wire? if yes which cable are you using?
in 4) you mention "if I haven't enabled the AptX HD from the iPhone app and even I have LDAC selected from the M1s, Momentum 4 connect with AptX HD". to my knowledge the iPhone can only use AAC or SBC codecs and not AptX HD. With this in mind are you stating that you have selected the M1s bluetooth codec from an app within the iPhone?
I was trying the creative W5 earlier today but the disturbance was quite high with crackling, losses of the song etc. This would be a huge deal for me if I can play tidal / Apple Music etc from my iPhone to my LDAC or APTx HD to my bt headsets.
I just want to be 100% want to be sure as I have invested a few hundred in dongles and the hiBy r2 which was promised as a fix.
At the end of the day I want to use this device as a DAC and a Bluetooth transmitter. I don't care for any other built in features and I will never put in a memory card to play music as I stream everything and that which I have encoded is all in ALAC which requires an Apple Music player.

1) I mean by cable, as you can only use either receive or transmit BT on the M1s. so you basically connect the m1s by wire to iPhone/iPad/MacBook and by BT with any BT and using a variety of hq codecs
2) there is an app for the sennheisers and most of the bt headsets. to connect via hq codecs you usually need to enable this feature as it provides a less stable connection to the majority of users might prefer the stability over the quality that their source won't provide in the first place.
connect via wire ----> connect via BT to any headset / bt enabled amp ---> enjoy ldac/aptx hd instead of just AAC

Excuse me, but did you really reply, that a company like Shanling, doesn't have access to the latest Apple TV box to test and fix a bug that one of the latest products launched is facing? You understand that when you launch a product that has airplay connectivity, apple users will buy this product for this feature, right?
How are we going to connect our M1s to our Apple TV if you dont fix the BT connectivity issue?
Is there any change you will at least update the airplay protocol?

M1s is a product that retails more than a Apple TV box. this is kind of embarrassing for your company. you cant really reply something like this in public. just buy an Apple TV box, or maybe we can supply one for your team?...

I just tried connecting my M1s to my LG OLED TV via BT. It connects, skip and previous buttons even change channel, but no sound is playing.
does the software team have access to LG tvs or your official answer is that the M1s doesn't pair also to the LG tv?

my experience with the hiBy was very poor as well. I have ordered the Sony A306 for it's good bluetooth repertoire and also checking out the Aune BU2 newest Version with LDAC Bluetooth which I think should be good (albeit bulky).

Don't get me wrong my friend, I love this little unit. I sometimes even use it on my desk even if I can use the K7. BUT if I knew I wouldn't be able to connect it via BT or AIRPLAY to my TV & Apple TV box, I wouldn't get it. I would get M0 pro or something else. So now this thread can inform others and they can decide weather it is worth it or not...
I hope @Shanling will soon fix those issues.
I'm looking for a pure bluetooth solution to send LDAC to the ifi go pod, moondrop little white, hifiman svannar and to a lesser extent the fii0 utw5. I like my IEM's but I like them wireless and dont' wanna carry a large dap. Ideal would have been connect one of these to my iphone but that hasn't really been succesful.
