Can anyone answer if the digital filters are working over wifi/Bluetooth/USB dac mode or is it only for the built-in music player?
Digital filters affects how data are processed in the onboard DAC. So they apply for all the input methods.

Is there any guide for these filters?
After some testing I think I can understand a slight difference in sound using 1 or 2 but not something crazy.

Eq is not being applied to bt or wired connection though, right?

Hi,

Does anyone know whether Shanling M1s could recognise the new Tidal "Max" format because it is a big difference between MQA and Hires PCM (FLAC)? Thank you.

It recognizes the Max files and plays them as full Hi-Res, it will also indicate the correct sampling rate of the file.
It will also show MQA mark, but that's just an error we need to fix.

That is response we received from software team. As they don't have access to Apple TV Box right now, troubleshooting the Bluetooth issue make take some time.

Software team currently has no plans to pursue Airplay 2 support.

Can you PLEASE make this unit just connect via BLUETOOTH to one of the most popular tv boxes in the worl? Apple tv 4k?
there is just a message with a password, i press accept, nothing happens, there is an automatic second try after a few seconds, new password and it fails again.

On the LG tv it can connect via SBC HD but the audio it out of sync and the built in tv adjustment is not active with this unit.
the unit is useless using one of its key functions, BT/airplay connection.

please escalate this.

Whenever I try to access my playlist on Tidal the M1S freezes and just shows a circle as if it's downloading but it's stuck. Any thoughts?

Testing it on my units and I see no problems with it and so far we haven't seen reports from other users.

Does it keep happening on your unit? How many playlist do you have?

I have about 5 playlists with about a hundred songs each. It keeps happening when I try to access them. Tidal works fine otherwise. Is there a way to reinstall the firmware update?

You can run the manual install again. Downgrading or returning to the firmware.

You can run the manual install again. Downgrading or returning to the firmware.
I reinstalled firmware 2.3 and I still get the same freeze up when I try to access Tidal playlists. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you!

I've tried a few different settings on Tidal desktop and my phone app to see if that might help. No luck. I also added a new playlist to see if that it was something with my playlist but nothing.

Have you tried factory reset of the M1s?
