Best combo device for headphone amp/dac and audio interface for guitar?
Thanks, but I'm not seeing any mention of it being an audio interface or any marketing showing instruments being used with it? Am I missing something?- matthewh133

Best combo device for headphone amp/dac and audio interface for guitar?
I'm currently using the RME Adi-2 FS for my headphones and studio monitors, which is a perfect device for my computer music listening setup. It's compact and fits in my setup perfectly from a footprint standpoint. My issue is that I also have an external audio interface (Apollo Solo) to play...- matthewh133

Almost new pair of HD-650. Frame is all in perfect condition, pads just look like they've had regular use. I've owned these for maybe 1.5 years total and they function perfectly and sound fantastic. Selling due to a recent major upgrade. Comes with original box etc. Asking $210 shipped plus PP...- matthewh133

Selling a pair of LCD-2 pre-fazor (as assumed by the serial number starting with 53). These sound incredible, but my weak neck can't handle the weight of Audeze cans too well unfortunately. I would say the cosmetic condition is a 7.5 or 8/10. There are only a couple of minor scuffs to note that...- matthewh133

Are there any charts with notes of all the different models of Grado for comparison's sake and to help choose? I found an RS2E I'm interested in but have no idea if it's better than say a 325x or Hemp for what I like.- matthewh133

Found a pair on eBay for $449 brand new. They have 3 in stock. Random seller, but they have 900 sales and 98% positive rating. Would you do it?- matthewh133

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
Thanks for this, I think you might have convinced me to pick one up. I actually don't have an Eikon anymore, I sold it as it was too heavy for my neck. That's another reason I like the HD650, super light.- matthewh133

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
If I'm looking for a headphone that would suit rock/metal more than my current HD650 (which I feel is a little too subdued/lacks forwardness), would the HD660S2 a good choice? I like the HD650 for the looks and comfort, so if the sound element of the 660S2 would be an improvement for my needs it...- matthewh133

Yeah it says 4ourears is the Grado store. I read that only things sold by Amazon directly can be returned when already opened, and that third party sellers can deny returns on opened products?- matthewh133

Good to know, I wonder if they have the GS1000X. I might have to give them a call. Grado is sold by third party there, so I'm not sure I would be able to return them after using them?- matthewh133

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
Up to $1,200 ish, but I'm flexible if it's worth it. Currently have an LCD-2 that I'm also selling because it's just too heavy for me and gives me a sore neck. Using an Element II as a source/amp.- matthewh133

Which is the current Grado lineup winner for metalcore music? Bonus points if they are also good with indie/folk (Iron and Wine etc). Currently using the HD650 and I want something a little more aggressive/forward in the mids and maybe a little more soundstage. I was looking at the GS1000X but...- matthewh133

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
Currently own the HD650, but looking for something a little more detailed/aggressive in the midrange for my predominate metalcore/hardcore tastes. Currently looking at the Focal Elex, Grado GS1000X, and Grado 325x. Any suggestions? Preferably something that also does indie/folk acoustic style...- matthewh133

Would using a headphone cable extender reduce quality?
My HD650 from my JDS Element II Amp/Dac. Essentially looking to do something like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/fgqq4m/for_those_who_dont_like_a_cable_running_across/ -
Would using a headphone cable extender reduce quality?
I want to use an extension cable from my amp and mount it under my desk so I can plug my headphones in at the end of my desk. I hate the aesthetic element of a headphone cable going all the way across my desk. Would this reduce audio quality, or should I be good? Any way to tell what is a decent...- matthewh133
