I have both the Sennheiser IE7 and Triplefi 10s which I bought around this time last year when Xmas deals were plenty! I am very pleased with them, giving the nod to the Triplefi 10s for their smoother treble. Is there anything out there that is a SUBSTANTIAL sonic upgrade under $600?   Thanks.

I just picked up a used (but perfect) Musical Fidelity M1 HPA and DAC combo and I'm loving the sound coming from the Beyer T1s!   Very detailed but no harshness. Highs are clean and real. Deeeep bass but no bloat. Soundstage wide and deep. Happy.  

Ever since getting the Beyer T1s I get the sense that my Audio-GD C-2C is a bit underpowered for these headphones. Mainly I notice that bass notes do not have the visceral impact I would expect. Would moving to the Schiit Lyr address this issue with the T1s?   Thanks.
