So there is a YU module with a slightly different tuning. Did I miss an announcement? I’m assuming this module is available for purchase separately, but I don’t see anything on the website. I have to admit my initial excitement has waned as there doesn’t seem to be much information. Also, this thread doesn’t seem to be really active, surprising considering this a new IEM launch.

The black stock module is very v shaped and the silver one they sent with my set is very warm and super neutral from the mids to the treble. I didn't really get any info either so I'm not sure how one obtains the silver ones.

YU was the second MU we designed for Axiom, considering the unique sound signature from the default MU, we offer YU which much more appealing in mids and smoother transition from mid to treble.

And the YU MU is FOC, don't miss it before its out of stock

Hey Corgifall, hopefully you have some fine with MU rolling, and did you get the MU from our retailer directly upon purchase?
Normally that is how we suggest our retail partners.

Mine was a review unit. I didn’t see much info initially. I was told about the silver module which I think is called the YU coming standard with new purchases.

I prefer the silver(YU) module for sure and that’s what I did most of my final testing with for my review.

Yup, Yu is the one in silver and the focus is on the mids and treble smoothness.

Have to mention, Axiom has great synergy with silver cable, its so fun to do MU and cable Rolling to explore the sound possibilities.
