Well. Cables sure matter as the electrical conductor. But if people are claiming that "this or that cable sounds amazing" why do they even bother to connect speakers or headphones to them? ;)

Same here. I use Hiby R6 daily but I bought Apple's lightning to jack adapter to see if I'm going to hear any differences. I heard none and it was such a pleasent surprise. The only thing that changed was that I had to set much higher volume on XR that on R6 but I was expecting that. I'm back...

You are on Windows 10 so try this - skip step 1. Do not install Qualcomm driver (if you already install it, please uninstall it and restart computer just to make sure). Start with step 2. Connect R6 to computer, wait to see charging screen and then press "Power", "Volume +" and "Volume -"...

I don't think that Tidal allows MQA on the mobile app. At least MQA was not available when I was using Tidal on R6, but it was a while ago so maybe they changed their minds about it.

I was using W30 (not exactly W50, I know) with R6 and I liked the sound. For me it was the same as with FiiO X5 III so you should be good with both R3 or R6. Soundwise I can't compare R6 to R3 but for me both should sound the same ;)

I don't know, I like this new icon. I also like the changes to the interface. Looks a bit cleaner this way. It's a pity to hear about problems after the update, though.

One of my friends thinks that there are harmonics that are not audible, but they make you feel that music indeed sounds better and he is dead serious about it. Apparently it only happens on high-end equipment. Or very expensive, I'm not sure ;)

I think that is the beauty of things that are crafted and not being done by a machines. Sometimes it just takes longer than expected but it is worth it. I strongly believe that you're soon going to enjoy the sound of ME :-)

I think that processing is the same for every model. It is just a lot of orders to process (which is a good thing I suppose) so it's just takes a little more time than usual. Sweden? You mean Poland as CA's lab is based in Warsaw? ;)

When I’m in the HiBy app the buttons are working, but outside they are not. Although it seems like they’re working in Apple Music but I can’t be 100% shure, because for some reason Apple Music does not working on R6 for me :)
