Don't bother with DSD playback for now, it's not working well (lots of noise). Better wait for the next stable firmware.

Well that sucks... What file were you playing and have you used it with another DSD-able player before?

Yep, intrigued by the fusion for a while and very few people accommodate the requirements for longer pins for the se5.

Exciting! Please impression when you get them... When will they arrive?

Getting dhc fusions too. Thinking about whether I should get the balanced trrs one, with a one foot extension. Or just a plain 4ft one with unbalanced mini. I'm worried the trrs to regular extension cable might degrade the sq when i'm using the nt6 pro with unbalanced amps. Any have experience with this?

While I haven't heard the IEMs kkcc mentions, it sounds like the RE-600 is in high praise. I totally agree with you jelt2359, it's a match made in heaven (901+bal amp+RE-600) that is transparent yet full of life.

I should be a few days away from joining the 901 - RE600 - balanced amp club as my amp is in the mail. Sounds like everyone loves this combo. Hoping to get a bit more bass from the 600's or otherwise get the sennheiser IE800 and eat only noodles for the rest of the year...

The RE-600's in the bass department will not disappoint.
