I would really like, by someone who owns both, what is the sound difference between the Vali 2 ( Or Vali 2 + ++ ) and Vali 3 , in terms of Tube rolling , does the new Vali 3 will reveal more then the Vali 2, the flavor of different tubes ? Does it sounds a little more tubey in general. then the Vali 2 ? Thank you for your answers.

From what I've read the extra voltage going to the tube brings out more in it. Someone that has the Vali 2++ (as I do) said that the Vali 3 sounded better.

Oh no! My dream of having Vali 2+++ shattered!
Anyone who owns Lyr 3 or Lyr+ can confirm how close those 100V rail on Vali 3 gets them?
(Since Jason states that Lyr 3 and Lyr+ are 100V)

I will be comparing with Jotenheim 2 when it gets here next week.I hope people will compare the Vali 3 with the Lyr+ and Jot2 cuz I really want an excuse to try tubes, WAF allowing.
I got my adapter here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/201458214762Or alternatively, I'd advise do the same as Hofy. Buy a 6J5 to 2C51 adapter, then you can use 6J5 x 2 tubes.
@Hofy where did you get your adapter, I can't for the life of me find a 6J5 to 2C51 adapter.
Sorry this is meant for Nick76, I don't know what tube Hofy is getting.
I still do not know what I am populating it with, but I have a few weeks to get that sorted out.

But the Vali 2 as lower voltage then the Vali 2 + , and it seems that the Vali 2 OG as the more color tubey sound and the Vali 2 + sound more like a solid state amp, see at 16:40 min of this video reviewFrom what I've read the extra voltage going to the tube brings out more in it. So i hope with the Vali 3 they went back with the more color tubey sound like the Vali 2 OG, which tube rolling is more revelant with the OG Vali 2

Oh but this is for 6922 pinout, do you need another 6922 to 5670 adapter?I got my adapter here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/201458214762

Anyone using Garage1217 6922<>5670 adapter? Have a few 6CG7 tubes which don't work soley with 'Vali 3'. 6CG7 pinout same as 6922. Curious rolling those...
Quick thoughts; sold Piety--enjoying the brighter clean presentation Vali offers. Recently plugged in GE 5670 5-STAR today-subtle differences. RCA Command 5670 on the way...
Looking at Western Electric 396A... single tube locally could pick up at 95$ USD (1977 or 1982) seems could find a better deal but they're brand new from a Canadian communication company's reserve stock department. Read early production run is supposedly better than later production (Square/ Circle getter).
CFA Supermoon 4hr listening session, beautifully sonic pairing. Played around with (hi/lo) gain top volume range (11/3). Grado RS1X another blissful pairing--musically airy.
Chain... MBP M1 Pro>Gungnir USB 5>Vali 3>Roon (Volume Leveling: Auto, Target Level: -14LUFS.
New Release Friday addiction, 'Figura' by CLARAGUILAR,
"The album dives into the melodic landscapes, merged with orchestral samples and chopped voices containing mysterious messages inside."

Jeremy makes great adapters - have a few of them and held up to years of rolling madness,Anyone using Garage1217 6922<>5670 adapter? Have a few 6CG7 tubes which don't work soley with 'Vali 3'. 6CG7 pinout same as 6922. Curious rolling those...
To my ears, the 50s to early 60s 396A are sweeter and more detailed. However, it's not a bad idea to start in the 70s and work your way back to the 50s WE 396A.Quick thoughts; sold Piety--enjoying the brighter clean presentation Vali offers. Yes, one needs a 6922 to 5670 adapter also. I have one of those on the way from Garage 1217. The reason being I have a 6SN7 to 6922 adapter leftover from my Vali2. Also the 6j5 adapters I found are either 6j5 x2 to 6SN7 or 6j5 x2 to 6922. Nothing for 6j5 x2 to 5670. Even if there was one we would have to use a socket saver to get the big adapter high enough to plug in.Oh but this is for 6922 pinout, do you need another 6922 to 5670 adapter?

Lol yeah makes sense, I just thought there is some magical 6J5 x 2 to 5670 adapter that I didn't know about.Yes, one needs a 6922 to 5670 adapter also. Otherwise I already have:
6J5 x 2 to 6922 adapter
6J5 x 2 to 6SN7 adapter
6SN7 to 6922 adapter
6SN7 socket saver
12AU7 to 6SN7 adapter
I'm slowly building my adapter empire thanks to adapter king @LobalWarming. For every adapter that exists he has another adapter for it.
Oh and yes adapters from Garage 1217 are very good quality, granted a little bit more expensive than the eBay Chinese counter part.
But very good adapter nonetheless.
My first set of 6J5 are on the way. Less than $20 for a matched pair of NOS GE 6J5 that test high.
