If they don't that's good to hear, I'm only going by what I've read so I can't really say but these sound phenomenal compared to the Lasmex L90s that I brought up a couple of weeks ago and those were really great headphones too.I actually have no muddiness with the 1.0
I was shocked by how good they sound

http://theheadphonelist.com/elegant-simplicity-a-review-of-the-dd-audio-dxb-04/2/I was about to pull the trigger on the $200 BF Meze 99 Neos but now I'm curious about the DXB-04s. Anyone else around here heard both? I'm a sucker for wood but don't want to pay $310 for Meze 99 Cs. Getting equivalent or better sound than the Meze offerings for $99 would be nice.
@PinkyPowers review which led me to getting these. The review was spot on.

If you ask in that thread I think there are a couple of people who may have heard both...
Thanks. He does state that the 99 C and Neo are upgrades. However, reading the summary at the end, I'm not sure that the Neo would warrant the extra $100.http://theheadphonelist.com/elegant-simplicity-a-review-of-the-dd-audio-dxb-04/2/

Hmm, tempting but I know I wouldn't really need them. Impressed with my Emu Purplehearts I just got in so far, so perhaps I shall ride that wave for awhile.

I love the looks of that DXB-04...and I also love the look of my Neo plus the comfort and sound.
I almost got them but I didn't want a flimsy plastic build and the cables aren't detachable.Hmm, tempting but I know I wouldn't really need them. Impressed with my Emu Purplehearts I just got in so far, so perhaps I shall ride that wave for awhile.

I have known about these and am sad that they only ship in the USA
Do you mean they refuse to ship out of US (ie, EU countries)? Even w/shipping cost added?
I have a pal in Milan area who might really like these. But since the only place to buy these seems to be DD Audio, he'd have to buy from them...?

This is my favorite part of the site
I was unable to find anything about international shipping.

They're full sized, they're Asian and they're mine
Looks as if I'm done with my BF shopping already lol. $175 brand new with a two year warranty, can't complain about that.
Congratulations! Looking forward to your impressions. I did a quick search and could not find a price in the states even close to that price.

Thanks mate! It was indeed a great deal, original price over here was $500. I've auditioned them once before several months ago and was really impressed with the sound but thought the price was too steep so this was a no brainer for me

That is a great price, where did you get that deal if I may ask?

It was a in store deal only from a major store chain over here (think Best Buy), they're clearing their inventory to add a B&O line instead.......
They're really great so far, like a love child with the X2's and HD650 as partens. I can't help thinking that Onkyo/Gibson made a huge mistake not making the design more conservative.
