i plug my e17 to my comp via usb and i can only use it for listening to things on internet, when i play music through itunes, the sound comes out of the laptop built in speakers, anything i can do to make the e17 my default playback device for itunes?

Im wondering since the new Ipod touch 5th generation will send a digital signal instead of analog, if it will now be fully compatible with the FiiO E17 DAC/amp. 

I just ordered a pair of custom IEM's (1964 Ears-Q) and looking to upgrade my current portable amp. Will the iBasso or Leckerton be a major upgrade from the e17? Or would it be better to keep the e17 and get something like the Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo and pair the two? Thanks for any input!
