Yes that is correct, balanced output will work even when a single ended DAC is used

When I stream a master album, the bit-depth always resorts to 32-bit rather than 24-bit (shown on Audio midi on my macbook). Not sure why this is the case. I'm using the mimby so a non-MQA compatible dac.   Is anyone having this problem?

Has anyone tried these out of the yamaha p3200?   I've read some stuff about the fans being noisy on this amp, but I was wondering what the sound quality of one of these older yamaha power amps would be like.

It's great to see all these positive impressions of the new ZMF's.   Has anyone had the chance to compare either the Atticus or the Eikon to the old Blackwood? I saw it sitting next to the omni in one of the pictures.

The JDS labs C5D is excellent for iem's as it has a very low output impedence, its also surprising small. Another popular option would be the audioquest dragonfly black/red

How are you finding them so far? 

I read somewhere that it sounds better to use se output when using single ended input, and balanced output when using balanced input on the jot. Is this the case?

Does the daccord have a better usb implementation to schiit's dac line (d/s and multibit). Or rather, how do the implementations for usb differ?
